The Science Behind  ReyaGel®

Most extracellular matrix products come from a single tissue and are primarily collagen.

ReyaGel combines extracellular matrix from multiple tissues to create a broader biological matrix.

What Is Extracellular Matrix (ECM)?

Extracellular matrix (ECM) is the natural structural framework that surrounds and supports the cells within our tissues and organs.

Within healthy tissue, ECM contains structural proteins, peptides, and signaling molecules that help organize and maintain the tissue environment.

Because of this role, extracellular matrix has become an important area of research in regenerative medicine and tissue repair.

Not All Extracellular Matrix Is the Same

Most ECM products come from a single tissue source and are primarily collagen.

ReyaGel combines ECM from multiple tissues, creating a broader biological matrix that better reflects the complexity of native tissue.

Each ECM tissue contains a wide variety of natural biomolecules that are important in the body’s healing process, including:

Exosomes; Collagen Types I, III, IV, V; Laminin; Elastin; Fibronectin; Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF); Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF); Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF); Hyaluronic Acid

Our Multi-Tissue Platform (MTP®)

ReyaGel® is built on our proprietary Multi-Tissue Platform (MTP®).

Through this process, extracellular matrix from multiple tissue sources is carefully processed to preserve the natural structure of the matrix and the components naturally found within it.

The result is a diverse biological matrix containing structural proteins, peptides, and signaling molecules naturally found within healthy tissue.

How our MTP ® Technology Works

Supplements the body with concentrated biomaterials missing from damaged or aged skin.

Components of MTPgel provides the biomolecules the body uses to repair injured skin including blood vessels and lymphatic channels, often overlooked in large volumetric tissue regeneration.

MTP components induce the body’s own regenerative capabilities including recruiting stem, progenitor, and immune cell types to the site of application to shift the body’s inflammatory response to a regenerative response, including angiogenesis.

Built on Technology Used in Hospitals

Extracellular matrix technologies based on our Multi-Tissue Platform (MTP®) have been used on hundreds of thousands of patients in hospitals, including applications involving burns, trauma, surgical wounds, and chronic wounds.

ReyaGel represents the evolution of this technology into a liquid extracellular matrix format.
